4.1 Third-Party AI Processing

For skin analysis and product recognition, photos and related profile context are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to Vobio’s servers and processed using Google Gemini API (Google LLC). OpenAI may be used as a limited fallback for text-only processing. These providers process data only to deliver the requested analysis and are contractually required to protect user data. Face photos are not permanently stored by DermoAI after analysis; only derived analysis results are retained.

5. Data Retention Period

  • Photos: during the analysis period or until deleted by the user
  • Account data: as long as the account is active
